Abortion bill threat
Liberal MPs angry with the Premier over the bill to decriminalise abortion are maintaining their pressure by threatening the Government's majority.
Former women's minister Tanya Davies has publicly confirmed she will move to the crossbench if the bill passes the Upper House later this month without amendments.
Fellow backbencher Kevin Connolly has also backed the move. He said the way it had been handled put him in an "untenable" position.
"Something serious has to change, in my view, to restore proper accountability in the way this is handled," he said.
Large gun haul
Over 450 weapons have been seized in the state's south after police followed up on some guns not handed in from a deceased estate.
During the search of the Cooma house, police found hundreds of guns that had been damaged by moisture.
Police and fire rescue personnel needed to use breathing apparatus to retrieve the weapons due to their poor condition.
An 80-year-old man who is a registered firearms dealer has now had his licence suspended.
Targeted shooting in Liverpool
Two men are in hospital after being shot in a targeted attack this morning in south-west Sydney.
Police responded to reports of shots being fired at a Liverpool house around 2:30am but found no victims at the scene.
About half an hour later two men, aged 26 and 33, arrived at Liverpool Hospital with gunshot wounds.
Both men are known to police.
