As it happened: NAB boss accused of 'passing responsibility' to departed executive

NAB's chief executive Andrew Thorburn has been accused of trying to pass responsibility for the bank's fee-for-no-service compensation mishandling to recently departed executive Andrew Hagger.

Mr Hagger, who appeared at the banking royal commission to give evidence about the fees-for-no-service scandal, left the bank in September, but NAB's chief legal counsel Sharon Cook, who was also responsible for the bank's response to ASIC, remains at the company.
