Each week we publish a list of concerts our writers will be covering in the next few days, and we invite you to tell us about the shows you've attended recently or bands you're hoping to see soon.
Last week readers told us they'd been to see Howler
williewandsworth:
Great set, great attitude, and an album with four or five potential singles. If they play the right festivals this year they'll be massive come autumn. Genius stuff from such precocious youth.
abnerblini
Played with Trembling Bells and a chap on piano/squeezebox/autoharp who's name i didn't catch. Beautiful, it were.
And our New Band of the Day gig at the Barfly in London
daveportivo:
I was pretty smashed and didn't pay a huge amount of attention to the bands, I actually missed two of the bands I really wanted to see. That's totally besides the point, because it was a lovely evening, full of cool talkative people. Bring on the next one.
We also asked our @guardianmusic Twitter followers which gigs they're going to see this week, and what they're expecting.
@martynyoung184
I'm off to see Wild Flag in Glasgow tonight and expecting it to be loud, raucous and intensely thrilling
@seldomrecords
King Creosote & John Hopkins. Shepherds Bush Empire. 2 Feb. Kenny's pure voice with John's midas magic.
@eddireader
I'm gonna be singing at/and watching The Transatlantic Sessions as we roll from Celtic Connections around this island
@steve_dooley
Cathy Davey at Whelans on Thursday night. Big fan so expecting it to be good!
@lauzjay
The Black Keys on Friday at Nottingham Arena. Heard they're amazing live so it's gonna be good
@JoannaHoare
Secret Sisters at Union Chapel this evening. Hoping for big beautiful voices and bucket loads of Alabama charm
