Chief Medical Officer Brendan Murphy has moved to allay concerns over the new coronavirus tracing app, saying the Commonwealth has "no access to any of the data" and it will "never be used for any other purpose" than contact tracing.
He also said it was an "amazing, gratifying outcome" that over 1 million people had downloaded the app since its release.
