Glastonbury cancelled in 50th year, new travel advice issued — as it happened

Organisers of the Glastonbury music festival in the UK have announced the June event — due to celebrate its 50th anniversary — has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The AFL says its home-and-away season will go ahead behind closed doors as planned. The season has already been condensed to 17 rounds.

The Federal Government has updated its travel advisory to level four for the entire world, with Scott Morrison telling shoppers there's no need to go out panic-buying amid the coronavirus pandemic.
