More than half of Australia's 6,300-plus coronavirus cases have now recovered

Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt has praised Australians for staying home and self-isolating over Easter but warns coronavirus spikes or outbreaks could happen at any time despite the flattening of the curve.

Australia now has 6,360 cases of COVID-19, with more than half of those now recovered.
