FirstEnergy Stadium was rocking for the 2019 season opener with the Tennessee Titans in town. Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and the hyped-up Cleveland Browns finally took to the field.
We’ll keep a rolling tally of highlights from the game, starting with the Browns bursting out to a quick 6-0 lead.
Mayfield and the Browns made it look easy on the first drive. It’s a drive which included Beckham’s first reception as a Brown:
Dontrell Hilliard capped off the masterful drive with his first career TD…on his first career rushing attempt.
The rest of the first half was sadly devoid of pretty much anything positive for the Browns.
David Njoku shook off a tough start to the game and got to perform a Chief Stomp after his TD reception to close the gap to 15-13.
