Lights, camera, angels. The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is finally here. Both new and veteran Victoria’s Secret Angels are fluffing their wings as we speak before floating down the runway.
Top Victoria's Secret models—Gigi Hadid, Alex Consani, and Adriana Lima included—are slated to walk again after appearing in last year’s comeback runway show. In 2024, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned from a hiatus—and a global rebrand to widen its reach and fanbase.
Even with one new-and-improved show under their belts, the stakes are just as high this year. How will Victoria’s Secret outdo the 2024 runway starring Bella Hadid, Tyra Banks, and Kate Moss? (Not to mention Cher as one of the performers.)
The strategy started with familiar faces. Victoria’s Secret started revealing their Angels weeks before the show—Lily Aldridge, Anok Yai, and Joan Smalls were some of the first stars to make the cut. Then, Alex Consani, Adriana Lima, and Candice Swanepoel joined the mix, alongside Barbara Palvin, Gigi Hadid, and Alessandra Ambrosio. A handful of newcomers took the lineup to the next level, including Olympian Suni Lee, WNBA star Angel Reese, and curve model Precious Lee. And, of course, there’s a stacked performer lineup: Karol G, Madison Beer, TWICE, and Missy Elliott.
Just like that, the show became (another) one to watch.
Clearly, Victoria’s Secret is staying true to last year’s blueprint. New York City will host the fashion show once again. This time around, models will strut in front of the Brooklyn waterfront, with angel wings and voluminous blowouts flowing in the wind. How to Watch the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Once again, fans don’t need a ticket to New York City to watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. On October 15—exactly one year after the first post-hiatus show—an official livestream will capture every model’s look, backstage moments, and the A-list performers. It begins at 7 p.m. ET on Amazon Live, as well as the Victoria’s Secret Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok accounts. Performances from Madison Beer, Karol G, TWICE, and Missy Elliott will pop up throughout the show.
Around 4:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 15, the party starts on Amazon’s Pink Carpet. Celebrities who aren’t walking in the show will post for photographers, presumably with lingerie-forward looks on full display. The same Amazon Live link will take you to the Pink Carpet, where Marie Claire editors will be waiting (tiny microphone in hand) to interview various VIP guests.
A Recap of the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
“I was a junior editor at another magazine when Victoria’s Secret nixed its fashion show format in 2019. Back then, it seemed impossible that the glittery runway would make a comeback. There was just too much baggage, between the lack of inclusive casting and the hurtful comments from past executives—not to mention, years of pushing unrealistic ideals on impressionable shoppers—for the show to continue.
But come back, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show managed to do. The 2024 runway returned with a promise to be more relevant and representative than ever. The reinvented Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show embraced middle-age women; women with curves; and transgender women, all without losing the ribbon-tied bras and extra- extra-large wings that defined its early-2000s heyday.
Did the new show stick the landing? The reactions I heard immediately after were mixed. On the one hand, everyone seemed excited that the definition of a Victoria’s Secret angel had branched out at last. Performances by Cher, Lisa, and Tyla were a group-chat favorite. On the other, the set design and execution felt underwhelming. (One model’s heel got stuck in a panel on the runway!)

The 'Marie Claire' Team's 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Predictions
“Inevitably, a lot of the headlines around the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show focus on the casting announcements. This year, I’m just as intrigued by the actual designs. Adam Selman, the designer responsible for Rihanna’s legendary crystal CFDA Awards gown and a former Savage x Fenty exec, is now the designer director at Victoria’s Secret. He promised in pre-show interviews to bring a sense of ‘fun’ back to the runway, as well as a couture-inspired approach of designing each look around the model who would wear it.
In a sit-down with Harper’s Bazaar, Selman didn’t sound too weighed down by Victoria’s Secret’s history to have fun with the 2025 Fashion Show. “At the end of the day, it’s bras and panties,” he said. “I would hope you’re laughing and having a good time in bras and panties.”—Halie LeSavage, senior fashion news editor

The runway looks were sparkly, the wings were impressive, the models were glamorous.It felt more outwardly commercial than it did in the past. That’s not a bad thing—if anything, it’s necessary.

I know 'Mother' has been coined by Gen Z, but the first section was so much deeper than that. Seeing actual mothers walk the runway, dripping in gold and bronze lingerie, made me so proud to be a woman.
