Rain-soaked Victoria warned worst of wild weather is yet to come, as it happened

Victorians are at the beginning of what the weather bureau is describing as an "unprecedented" deluge, which is expected to dump up to 300 millimetres of rain across the state over the next three days.

"Significant" flooding is expected in the state's north-east, with Melbourne predicted to cop up to 100 millimetres.
