LIVE UPDATES:
Locals have reported the presence of a helicopter over the Dun Laoghaire, Sandycove and Glasthule areas in the past hour due to an ongoing incident.
The helicopter, which appears to belong to gardai, has been flying over the area since just before 2pm this afternoon.
There have also been reports locally of a garda presence at the train station at Sandycove and Glasthule.
Dublin Live has contacted gardai for a statement.
