It's been a long two months without any football on our TVs but Saturday's return to action gave the entire continent of Europe some much needed cheer after the gloom of the global pandemic.

The result put Lucien Favre's men a point behind Bayern Munich before they responded by winning away at Union Berlin on Sunday.
Third-placed RB Leipzig slipped further behind in the title race after dropping points at home to Freiburg, who were denied victory for a plucky display when Robin Koch's stoppage-time goal was disallowed by VAR.
Up next is Bayer Leverkusen's visit to Werder Bremen with the hosts in desperate need of a result in their push to escaper relegation.
