Live at the Edinburgh Festival: Laura Solon and Sean Hughes

In today's podcast, Perrier award-winner Laura Solon gives Miles Jupp a sample of her comic characters plus some tips on what to see at the fringe - oh, and on how to go about renting stuffed rabbits. Then festival veteran Sean Hughes confesses his age and multitude of class complexes to Miles's evident delight.

Next a gruff-voiced Patrick Monahan tells Miles why he's been scaring children in his kids' show, and why Edinburgh is all about kissing people in tank tops.

Plus there's standup from Sainsbury's fan Simon Munnery, a poem about David Cameron by comedy wordsmith Elvis McGonagall and a sketch from Tommy and the Weeks, with a little help from a metric-converting goat-fawn. (Has to be heard to be believed.)

If you're in Edinburgh, we want to see you! Make sure you come to one of our recordings, every weekday at noon at the Gilded Balloon, Teviot Square. Entrance is free but you need a ticket - go to the Fringe box office, or the venue, or call 0131-622 6552.
