Photo: Ina Fried/Axios

Apple is set to debut its latest iPhones and other gear at an event just kicking off at company headquarters in Cupertino. First up, Apple is offering more details on some of the services it previewed back in March, including Apple Arcade and Apple TV+, but keep checking back for live coverage. In the meantime, here is our Axios cheat sheet on what to expect.

Why it matters: The iPhone is Apple's most important product. The latest crop is debuting amid a slowing smartphone market.

What's been announced so far:

  • Apple Arcade: Apple previewed the subscription games service earlier this year, but offered more details Tuesday on how it will work and some of the new games, including an updated version of the 80s video game classic Frogger. Arcade will launch Sept. 19 for $4.99 per month after a 1 month free trial; games work on iPhone and iPad as well as on Apple TV and Mac.
