Live chat recap: Hosmer, Perez pace AL to All-Star Game win

Kansas City Royals teammates Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez each homered and drove in two runs to help the American League beat the National League 4-2 in the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

Hosmer was named the game’s MVP, the first Royals player to win the award since Bo Jackson in 1989.

Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs homered in the first inning for the NL squad, which has now lost four in a row.

The AL, which claimed home-field advantage for the World Series, has also won?13 of the last 16 All-Star Games.
