Live a little, love a little

Love will fill the air during the "EmQuartier Love Out Loud: Pass The Love Forward" fair, which will take place at the Quartier Avenue, ground floor of EmQuartier, from tomorrow to Sunday.

There will be a charity market featuring brand name products donated for a good cause by stars and celebrities. Items include purses, glasses, watches, neckties, hats and paintings. Well-known Thai designer brands such as Asava and Issue will also put their most sought-after items on sale along with other trendy lifestyle items.

Health-conscious visitors will learn about digestive and liver diseases from professional doctors from Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Medicine and receive a complimentary Fibro Scan from 2pm to 5pm (limited to 25 people per day).

Play La Ploen Flora Park in Buri Ram will offer special prices on flowers and plants such as Spanish moss, cactus, royal fern, lilies and phalaenopsis. It will also give a special workshop where participants will learn to grow Spanish moss using a DIY kit (only 100 kits will be given away) exclusively on Valentine's Day.

Brand name items will be donated by stars and celebrities.

There will be many activities presented by Tonkla Fahsai vegetarian restaurant on the weekend. They include a lecture on "Living Life Amid PM2.5 Pollution" on Feb 16 at 11am, followed by a cooking demonstration on how to prepare spaghetti kua king at noon, a lecture on "How Blood Type Can Define Your Eating Habits" on Feb 17 at 11am, and a demonstration on how to cook broccoli soup at 3pm.

Throughout the four days visitors can also indulge in famous dishes from Too Fast Chicken Rice, Manee Me Nam, Tea Spoon and The Cheesecake Factory Bakery; and enjoy a mini concert by famous artists daily in the evening.

All proceeds will go to Digestive Cancer and Liver Diseases Research and Development Center at Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Medicine.
