Just weeks ago it was announced that Miyagi on Allerton road will close after four years.
Taking to Facebook to release the news, Mr M said: "It is with great sadness that Mr M will be closing his doors permanently.
"We are very proud of all we have created along Mr M's journey, we have met & made some fabulous regulars and friends.
"We thank every single one of you who have been part of our journey, wether you have dined/drank with us once or a hundred times, Thank you."

However, it wasn’t all bad news, as the Miyagi Allerton Road team revealed it would be opening another concept in the venue.
Now the new concept has been unveiled as Little White Lies bar and restaurant.
The owners are still keeping tight lipped about what the concept actually is.
Yet, they have hinted that the new venue could serve Italian-based cuisine by posting pictures of a pizza and an aperol spritz cocktail.
It has been announced that Little White Lies will open on Thursday, April 18.
The Miyagi restaurant in Ormskirk also closed and reopened as the Stag and Antelope Gastropub.
