Little Quirks ready to make big impression on Music People

RISING Central Coast indie-folk band Little Quirks will headline episode four of Music People on Tuesday night.

The family band - which features sisters Abbey (guitar, lead vocals) and Mia Toole (drums, vocals), and their cousin Jaymi Toole (mandolin, vocals) - recently released their single Florence's Town, which followed their third EP Cover My Eyes earlier this year.

Little Quirks' rich harmonies and pop-folk melodies have made them an in-demand act since introducing themselves at markets and through YouTube videos in 2015.

On November 6 Little Quirks will support alt-country artist Shane Nicholson at the Warners Bay Theatre for Great Southern Nights and they'll perform at Radio Waves: A Drive-In Concert on November 28 alongside Glenn Shorrock at the Morisset Showground.

Other acts scheduled for episode four of Music People include Newcastle indie band Cooks and Bakers, Belligen folk-duo Saije and Sydney blues and roots artist Declan Kelly.

Log onto the Newcastle Herald's Facebook from 8pm Tuesday to stream Music People.
