Little Mix vow to carry on without Jesy Nelson and have 'already recorded song without her'

Little Mix have vowed to carry on without Jesy Nelson and have already started planning their seventh album, it's claimed.

Jesy announced that she was leaving Little Mix for good on Monday, as she admitted she had struggled with her mental health during her time in the girlband and needed to spend time with her loved ones.

The group released a statement saying they support her decision and promised they wouldn't be splitting up any time soon.

And now it's reported that the remaining members, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, are already talking about Little Mix's future without Jesy and have even recorded a song without her.

They apparently want to follow in the footsteps of Take That, who still enjoyed huge success after Robbie Williams left.

But they will also work on their own solo projects at the same time, it's claimed.

A source told The Sun: "Speculation is rife that Jesy’s departure will spell the end for Little Mix but if they were going to split up, they would have said that this week."

The insider added: "There is a new single featuring the three of them ready to go early next year, as well as other tracks, and there could even be a seventh album before 2021 is over."

They went on: "2021 marks a decade of Little Mix and the girls are raring to go for another ten years."

The Mirror has contacted Little Mix's rep for comment.

It comes after Jesy released her statement announcing her exit, which followed her break from the band.

She wrote: "After much consideration and with a heavy heart, I'm announcing I'm leaving Little Mix."

Little Mix then put out a statement in support of Jesy, saying: "This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy.

"We love her very much and agree that it is so important that she does what is right for her mental health and wellbeing."
