Fans of Little Mix: The Search were going wild as they accused the girls of "flirting" with their contestants.

The brand new BBC singing competition sees the world famous girl group hunt for the next generation of bands, who will have the opportunity to work with the four stars on tour.

Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Peacock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards left their Little Mixers gasping at their TV screens after the new show kicked off with a cheeky start.

With the brand new series becoming a fan favourite on social media, viewers shared their reactions to all the drama on Twitter.

During the audition scenes, viewers pointed out that Jade in particular was playfully "flirting" with some of the male contestants.

One contestant named Adam couldn't hold back as he complimented the girls and cheekily wooed them.

While another contestant named Zeekay gushed over how pretty the girls are in "real life".

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "THE WAY THEYRE ALL FLIRTING WITH JADE IM NO ABLE."

A second begged: "Can they stop flirting w the girls... it's getting weird."

As a third added: "#LittleMixTheSearch is just a secret way for the girls to meet a bunch of boys."

Another wrote: "I have a feeling this won't be the last time we see the contestants flirting with the girls."

Tonight the girls formed a brand new boy band after rounding down the numbers.

In the coming weeks, they are searching for a girl dance group, a girl vocal group, a mixed group, a vocal and instrument group and a rap R&B group.
