Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has given birth to her first child.
The singer, 28, and boyfriend Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain welcomed their baby into the world on Saturday as the couple announced the news on social media.
"Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21," Perrie posted alongside a pair of sweet snaps on Instagram.
The couple, who have yet to reveal the name or gender of their first child, shared a heartwarming black and white photo of the little one.
The couple, who have been together four and a half years, have been sharing their journey to parenthood on social media since they went public with the news in May.
Little Mix bandmate Leigh Anne-Pinnock announced she was also expecting just days earlier, making it quite the celebration for the pop stars.
Announcing the news on Instagram alongside some adorable black and white photos, Perrie wrote: “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You. We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”
Little Mix fans were convinced Perrie had gone into labour on Saturday - and it appears they were right.
The theory started after Alex, who was due to play in Liverpool's match against Burnley, was left off the team sheet at the last minute due to "personal reasons".
Fans quickly took to Twitter to theorise that Perrie could be about to give birth at any moment.
One wrote: "Oxlade-chamberlain out of the Liverpool match for personal reasons, Perrie Edwards is having her baby lads ya heard it here first.”
