Jade Thirlwall has opened up about what's it been like to find love during lockdown.
The Little Mix singer, 27, sparked up a romance with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens, 28, earlier this year - with their relationship going from strength to strength ever since.
But what seems strange to Jade, is that she wasn't "looking for anyone" at the time, in fact, she was thoroughly enjoying being independant.
Speaking to Metro 's Guilty Pleasures column, Jade explained: "I ended up meeting someone in lockdown which is strange… I quite enjoyed doing it that way.
"We had real dates and really got to know each other. I wouldn't say I was looking for anyone at the time."
She added: "I was happy to be in lockdown because I am independent. I think you can still strive in your singleness in lockdown."
Jade - who has been enjoying single life for over a year now - said it's "really important" to her to be with someone who truly roots for her and makes her feel supported.
She previously told Cosmopolitan it was seeing him dressed in drag for 2019 film Tucked that sealed the deal.
During a conversation with RuPaul for the mag, Jade revealed: “When I first started talking to my boyfriend, I discovered he did a movie where he played a drag queen and I was like, right, that’s it.
"He’s perfect. Sign me up! A straight man who’s willing to dress in drag and loves being queer and feminine.”
Jade split from her last boyfriend, Jed Elliot from The Struts, in July 2019 and was first spotted out and about with Jordan as part of the Black Trans Lives Matter marches in June.
The pair then took a romantic trip to Venice together in August.
