Little Mix's Perrie Edwards sends good luck message to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Liverpool return

Perrie Edwards has sent a touching good luck message to boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as he makes his return to Liverpool's first team.

Little Mix star Perrie shared a photo of Alex ahead of him joining the team as a substitute in the Reds clash against Huddersfield.

Alongside the photo she wrote: "He's back, Go get em baby!

"I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you."

Perrie and Alex regularly put on loved-up displays, enjoying lavish holidays together and sharing their love for each other on social media.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been absent from the Liverpool squad for a year and two days, after suffering a serious knee injury against Roma.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spoke earlier today about the midfielder's return.

He said: "(It’s) unbelievable.

“We had to think about when we wrote the names on the teamsheet today how we call him. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, there are a lot of options obviously – Alex, Ox, Chambo, whatever! It’s that long ago.

“It’s really nice, it’s really good news that he’s back.

“He has been back for a while and now today back in the squad, so it’s cool – really cool.”
