Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock sparks fears she's going solo as she signs new deal

Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has sparked fears she's moving on from the much-loved band as she signed a new deal.

The songstress revealed she will be working with entertainment agency Satellite 414 on Tuesday, just three months after her former bandmate Jesy Nelson quit the band due to struggles with her mental health.

The official Twitter account for the leading talent agency tweeted out: "Huge welcome to Leigh-Anne Pinnock as she joins our SATELLITE414 and Satellite Screen rosters for solo projects across Music, Film and TV."

The singer is yet to speak out about the move, but it could be the start of a solo career for her as she backs out of the girl group.

Fans of Leigh-Anne took to the comments section to praise her on the exciting news.

"I'm so proud of her my girl is so talented," a second person shared.

And a third quipped: "Wish u all the best leigh so proud of u."

The announcement comes after Little Mix spoke about the future and 'sisterhood' following Jesy's departure in December.

In the new discussion with the three remaining band members, the singers reflected on how the Covid-19 pandemic and line-up change has forced the them to spend more time apart from one another and think on their goals - which may be better for them in the long run.

Jade Thirlwall told GLAMOUR: "I'm not saying that we're codependent, but we do heavily rely on each other, so it's been healthy to take a step back and think, 'What do I want?'"

She continued: "As we come together and work together this year, we'll have an even better and healthier relationship with that perspective.

"This time's taught me that I am still figuring out who I am, too... It's beautiful that we're still a group, but we want to help push each other to do our own thing, too."

She added: "It's like a new dawn of Little Mix."

These thoughts of growth and being there for each other were supported by Perrie.

Perrie added: "That's totally OK. We're not going to know, individually.

"We've always had each other, it's always Little Mix - it's us."

The thoughts of her bandmates were mirrored by Leigh-Anne who described them all as "sisters".

She said: "It's never been an option to not be together and we've always known that we are sisters."
