Forgetting the choreography to a dance or a lyric to a song and wardrobe malfunctions are among some of the most common on-stage performer fails.
But Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall's most "horrific" on-stage accident might just top them all.
Jade revealed the news on her MTV cookery show, 'Served! With Jade Thirlwall', where she spoke with Spice Girl Melanie C and 'RuPaul's Drag Race' finalist Courtney Act, and her mum Norma revealed the winner of this episode's cook-off.
While in the midst of burning her turnips and sausages, Jade asked Melanie for her most "horrific" on-stage moment, to which she replied: "We did a show in Miami, and in the first song, my trousers split right up the back.
"I had a G-string on under them, but my cheeks were there for the world to see. So I had to just run off."
But Jade well and truly blew Mel out of the park when she revealed her most embarrassing moment.
Jade said: "My worst ever stage experience, for me, was on Little Mix's Glory Days tour. I was a bit unwell at the time, I had, like, a poorly belly.
"And basically, before the show starts, we were in, you know the man-lifts? Where it rises up, and it's like a big dramatic entrance? As I was [crouching down] in the man-lift, I looked at my security guard, and I was like, 'I really need to do a little fart.'"
By this point you can already tell that things were about to take a turn, but Jade continued anyway, adding: "So I did it. I did a little fart. And then I literally s**t myself.
"I was in a fishnet. Picture that. I probably shouldn't have mentioned that publicly, to be honest. But there you have it."
Before whispering: "I've just told a Spice Girl I've s**t myself" to her friend off-screen.
