Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall supports 'brilliant' Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn

Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has publicly voiced her support for Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn .

Jade took to Instagram to comment on a video posted by Corbyn, where he read out mean tweets.

He captioned it: "This was surprisingly fun".

She loved the hilarious video so much she commented "brilliant".

And Corbyn responded to her, leaving a rose emoji underneath her comment as thanks.

Corbyn and Little Mix fans were delighted by the crossover, with some begging for the two to collaborate.

One urged Little Mix to bring Corbyn out on stage during their next show, with the soundtrack their song Wasabi - which is about brushing off mean comments online.

Another exclaimed: "Yaaassss" while a third applauded Corbyn for his love of pop culture icons.

"Jeremy corbyn follows Jade Thirlwall, Gemma Collins and Baga Chips and people are trying to tell me not to vote him? Lmao", they wrote.

Jade is not the only celeb supporting Labour - several others with a large following of young people have also supported the party publicly.

Dua Lipa threw her weight behind the Labour Party in a post made to her 36.7m Instagram followers.

“Our democracy is strongest when everyone’s voice is heard," she said.

"This is the most important election in a generation and YOUR vote counts.

“Your MP works for you so make sure you have your say about who deserves to represent you. See you at the ballot box 12th December!”

The star concluded the plea to head to the polls with the #VoteLabour.

Lily Allen has revealed she will be voting for Labour in the upcoming election.

Following the release of the Labour manifesto, Lily shared a video of her crying and saying: "Guys I've just watched the Labour manifesto and I think it's the best... manifesto I've ever seen".

Stormzy also publicly supports Corbyn, and his plea to his followers to register to vote caused an enormous wave in registrations.

He posted on  Twitter  and  Instagram  at around 7:13pm on Monday 25th Nov - just before government voting charts saw huge spikes in registrations.

Other famous Labour supporters include Rob Delaney, Miriam Margolyes, Danny Devito, Vivienne Westwood, and Wiley.
