Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock decided to keep the news that she was expecting twins during her pregnancy a secret.
She publicly announced she was expecting back in May on social media, sharing a number of professionally taken pictures alongside her fiancé Andre Gray.
And when she announced she welcomed twin babies, this week, fans went into meltdown - but others pointed out that Leigh-Anne's bandmate Perrie Edwards' mum, Debbie, let the news slip months ago.
Eagle-eyed Little Mixers claim they were suspecting Leigh-Anne was expecting two tots after Perrie's mum posted a sweet tribute after her daughter's bandmate shared she was pregnant.
On May 4, Debbie re-posted a photo of Leigh-Anne's bump and tweeted: "Massive congratulations to Leigh Anne and Andre.. babies on tour xx can’t wait xx".
Due to Debbie using the word "babies" some fans wondered if Black Magic hitmaker Leigh-Anne was expecting more than one baby.
One asked at the time: "BESTIE YOU TRYING TO SAY SOMETING? BABIES."
Another added: "Wait 'babies' !? OMG imagine if they're twins."
More joined in: "wait did u say babIES??? like in plural?????? babIES?! like PLURAL?! OMG!?! *faints*"
Leigh-Anne recently announced her happy news with an adorable black and white photo.
The offering showed her two babies' feet and the singer penned: "We asked for a miracle, we were given two... Our Cubbies are here 16/08/21."
Perrie replied: "Two bundles of absolute joy! I love you my Lee Lee!”
The news came after Perrie gave birth to her first child on Sunday.
"Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21", Perrie wrote to share that she has become a mother.
Bandmate Leigh-Anne replied: "I am so proud of you and I love you so much. what an angel."
While Little Mix'sade Thirwall rushed to congratulate the new mum's, ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson chose not to publicly reach out.
Jesy left the group in December, saying the high-profile role had “taken a toll” on her mental health.
She is set to release her debut solo album very soon.
