Little Mix's close pals heartbroken as Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock feud rages on

By Susan Knox

Some of Little Mix ’s closest friends have been left completely blindsided by their seemingly irreparable fallout.

A number of their nearest and dearest, who have worked with the girls since they first shot to fame on the X Factor back in 2011, have been left utterly shocked by the controversy that has went down since the release of Jesy Nelson’s debut solo single.

It comes amid claims that Jesy’s former bandmate, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, sent now leaked messages to TikTok sensation, NoHun, calling her former friend a ‘horrible person’ and claiming Jesy ‘cut off’ her other bandmates Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall the minute she left the band last December.

Leigh-Anne reportedly sent the messages amid scandal surrounding the music video for her debut single featuring Nicki Minaj, called Boyz.

Following the release of the video, Jesy has been accused of ‘blackfishing’ - a term used to describe someone who uses aspects such as hairstyling, makeup, and fake tan to make them appear darker as if they have black heritage.

As tensions continue to rise between the Little Mix girls after Perrie, Jade, and Leigh-Anne all unfollowed Jesy on Instagram, their friends have now spoken out to share their disbelief at the colossal falling out.

The band's unofficial fifth member Kamille, who wrote many of their hits, including Black Magic and Shout Out To My Ex, said the fallout is painful to see.

"This is all just so sad to watch, after 10 years of friendship,” Kamille said on Twitter.

And her sentiment was quickly followed by an onslaught of comments from heartbroken Little Mix fans.

“My heart is broken to see this happen. It's as if they never even liked one another and it was all a lie,” one fan replied.

“Seeing Jesy and Leigh-Anne fall out and seeing Jade and Perrie stay silent doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t know whose side I’m on,” another added.

Meanwhile, a third tweeted: “There’s no chance of a reunion now – ever. It’s devastating to see as a person who has followed their success from day one.”

It comes after fans lashed out at Jesy following her Instagram livestream with co-collaborator Nicki Minaj.

During the tense live, Nicki hit out at Leigh-Anne, calling her a ‘jealous clown’ amid the controversy.

As the Super Bass singer laid into Jesy’s former bandmate and friend, she said nothing and failed to defend Leigh-Anne – which didn’t go down well with Little Mix fans.

Soon after, they hit out at Jesy for allowing Nicki to ‘talk trash’ about Leigh-Anne.

Loose Women’s Charlene White even weighed in on the drama, branding Jesy ‘embarrassing’ for the ‘toxic’ livestream.

The Mirror has contacted Little Mix representatives for comment on this story.
