Little Mix reunion delights fans as Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne party a year on from 'break' news

Little Mix have delighted their legions of fans across the world by reuniting for a Christmas night out, a year on from their announcement they were 'taking a break.'

It was at the start of December 2021 that the X Factor winners broke the news that they'd be spending some time apart from each other after their Confetti tour, in an online statement which read: "It's been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.

"We can't thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much."

Offering assurances that this wasn't the end for Little Mix, the trio added: "We are not splitting up - Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We've made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can't wait to make so many more.

"We're sisters and we'll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever."

Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne haven't been seen together since the final date of their Confetti tour but, on Tuesday night a photo of them together appeared on Little Mix's social media accounts, which sent their followers into hysteria. The photo of the girls was captioned: "Reunited for a Christmas catch up and it feels so good," and the image quickly got a huge reaction.

One fan replied: "Queeeeennnnnssssss," with another commenting: "a christmas wish come true." A third responded: "I missed my girls together,it’s been way too long for my heart"
