Little Mix 'get Madame Tussauds waxworks' after Jade suggests melting down Olly Murs

British girl band Little Mix are reportedly due to get their own Madame Tussauds waxworks.

The move comes after member Jade Thirlwall ranted about the need for them.

A source told The Sun that the iconic waxworks museum would be making lookalikes for the girl group after championing girl power by adding models of pop stars including Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande.

They said: “Little Mix seem a natural fit in London. The team are looking at how they can make it happen and whether there is space inside the exhibits for four new statues, which is quite an undertaking."

It comes after Jade noted earlier in the week that she thought they "deserved one" and had "earned" a place there.

Jade then went on to jokingly add: "You can melt down Olly Murs and make it into us."

The news comes following the band revealing that they would be halting filming on their new music talent show, Little Mix: The Search.

A source told The Sun: "The plan was to air four live shows every Saturday night across May.

"But because these would be filmed in front of a live studio audience, they've had to pull the plug because of coronavirus."

In the UK, 144 people have been confirmed to have died from coronavirus, while 3,269 have been confirmed to have positive test results for the virus.

Jade's Little Mix co-star Perrie Edwards has been self-isolating in recent days with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to keep themselves and others safe from the coronavirus.
