Little Mix have filmed their first music video without their former bandmate Jesy Nelson.
Jesy, 29, announced her departure from the girl group - consisting of Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards - back in December 2020.
According to The Sun, the trio have been filming the music video for Confetti, the fourth single from their album of the same name.
A music insider told the publication: “This is Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie’s first video as a trio so they wanted to do something really fun and out there.
“It will see each of them transforming into male versions of themselves.
“They’re going all out and are having full facial prosthetics, which takes hours but it will be worth it in the end.”
They have apparently been toying with the idea of becoming their male alter egos for a music video for a while now.
Jesy had fans wondering if she has been working on a solo career after posting several snaps from a studio.
A source told Daily Star : “All signs point to a clean break and totally new direction.
"She's spent the last decade in the pop machine being told what to do and where – she's probably ready to take control herself."
Meanwhile, Little Mix recently returned to the studio to record more music.
The girls were seen showing off their best dance as they took a break from recording new music.
Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade were joined by songwriters Kamille and MNEK, who have both written some of the group’s biggest songs.
They wrote alongside the clip: “Promise we made some bops too.”
Leigh-Anne reposted the video onto her Instagram Stories, and captioned it: “Yano what it means when we get back in the studio with our queens @kamille @mnek and the legend that is @trejeanmarie.”
