Little Mix fans flock to Newcastle's Utilita Arena for first night of LM5 tour

Every time Little Mix arrive in Newcastle you can be guaranteed an electric atmosphere and their legions of fans were certainly up for a night to remember when the girl group returned to Tyneside on Thursday night.

Nearly eight years have now passed since Jade, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne stormed to victory on The X Factor and since then they have taken the world by storm, with smash hits including Wings, Black Magic and Shout Out To My Ex, and packed out plenty of venues across the globe.

Little Mix are in Newcastle this weekend with their LM5 tour, which sees them play three consecutive nights to capacity crowds at the Utilita Arena.

And the mood was absolutely buzzing for night one as Mixers of all ages headed there to enjoy a Little Mix tour setlist that includes the aforementioned number 1s as well as other huge hits like Reggaeton Lento, Secret Love Song and Touch.

There was a generous dusting of glitter around the city, with many of the girls' young fans decorating their faces for the occasion, while others wore t-shirts emblazoned with the girls faces or took along banners to wave for their idols.

There are very limited tickets left for Little Mix in Newcastle. They are available in person from the Utilita Arena box office and online from Ticketmaster.
