Little Mix delight fans with acoustic performance on One World: Together At Home

Little Mix received rave reviews when they performed an acoustic version of their song Touch at Lady Gaga's benefit concert for the coronavirus.

The concert featured performances from more than 100 different artists via video links, and highlights show was shown on BBC1 on Sunday night.

Little Mix stars Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall appeared via a group video call and each sang their parts beautifully.

Perrie introduced their performance with a touching statement about the current situation.

She said: "We wanted to say hi and we really hope you guys are being positive during this weird, weird time that we are in and I think we can all agree that the love that we feel for the NHS staff at this time and the key workers, doctors, nurses, carers, retail workers, postmen, waste collectors, the list goes on and on.

"You all deserve such a huge thank you and we appreciate you so so so much."

Twitter lit up with comments from delighted fans who enjoyed their performance.

One gushed: "the way little mix can still harmonise flawlessly even when they aren’t together is so impressive. they all sounded amazing".

"They all sounded great ... but gosh leigh gave me shivers," added another.

"They really killed it ... vocal queens," added a third.

"This is insane talent right here!!," penned a fourth.

Viewers were also brought to tears by a performance from Greenday frontman Billy Joel Armstrong.

He performed a rendition of When September Ends, evoking all kind of emotions for viewers.

This included Lady Gaga herself, who posted a video of herself crying on social media.

"Thank you so much to Billy Joel and to Greenday for this beautiful song," she said through her tears.

"Billie Joe Armstrong on #TogetherAtHome has made me v happy," wrote one.

"Billie Joe Armstrong singing "wake me up when September ends" at #GlobalCitizen almost made me cry. The song makes a lot of sense now," added another.
