Little Mix cancel UK summer 2020 tour including dates in Cardiff and Colwyn Bay

Little Mix have cancelled their UK summer tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A statement on the group’s Instagram page said: “We are so sad to announce that following the latest Government advice, we have had to cancel our upcoming UK summer tour. The health and safety of all our fans and crew is always our number one priority.”

It continued: “Please stay safe and stay home, lots of love, the girls x”

In the statement they tell fans to "look out for an email from your ticketing agent shortly", adding: "Please only contact them if you have not received an email by May 5th."

The group were due to head back to Wales with dates planned at Cardiff City Stadium in June and Stadiwm Zip World in Colwyn Bay in July.

The tour also included a headline slot at London's British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park.

Little Mix are one of many acts, including The Who, Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus, forced to postpone or cancel tours due to the outbreak.
The group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of The X Factor.

They have sold more than 50m records worldwide, collected more than 17m Spotify listeners, received more than three billion YouTube views, and collated 12bn streams worldwide.
