Little Mix 'broken hearted' as they're forced to cancel Vienna show due to truck accident

Little Mix have been forced to cancel a show just weeks into their world tour following a road accident.

No one was hurt in the incident, involving one of the band's production vehicles, but it meant staging equipment couldn't be brought to the venue in Wien, Austria.

The popular girl-group , made up of South Shields-born Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall as well as Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, are 19 days into the LM5 tour, which began in Liverpool at the start of the month.

An announcement on the band's Twitter page on Thursday said: "Vienna, we are so sad to say that tonight’s show has had to be cancelled.

"Unfortunately one of our production trucks was in an accident earlier today which means we haven’t been able to set up our staging and lights.

"Thankfully no one was hurt, but it means we aren't able to put on the show for you."

The message, which was signed by "the girls" said the band members were devastated to miss their appearance.

"We are absolutely broken hearted as we were so excited to see you all."

All tickets are set to be refunded. The band are next scheduled to appear in Stuttgart, Germany on September 21.
