Little Mix boost earnings by FIVE times in one year - bagging £6.6million

Little Mix boosted their earnings by almost five times in a year – sharing £6.6million in dividends from their live music company.

The band’s bumper pay is revealed in new accounts for Eternal Magic Touring, which they jointly own and co-run.

Records show that bandmates Perrie Edwards, 25, Jessie Nelson, 27, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 27, and Jade Thirlwall, 27, who are all company directors, split the dividends four ways – each taking home £1.65million.

The newly released accounts cover the year to August 31, 2018, and were filed to Companies House this week.

They also reveal that Eternal Magic Touring made a £2.8million profit and held £5million in funds as at the date of the accounts.

The girls have shared £9.2million from the company since it was set up in 2015 – with 2018 their most successful year.

In 2017, they were paid £350,000 each. In 2016, the figure was £325,000.

The accounts say “During the year, dividends of £6,600,000 were paid to the directors” – who were named as Perrie, Jessie, Leigh-Anne and Jade.

In November, it emerged that the band would no longer be working with Simon Cowell ’s record company Syco – the news breaking just days before the release of their new album.

The group has moved to label RCA, part of the larger Sony Group, which also includes Syco. Cowell previously revealed the split happened because he fell out with their management company, Modest Management.

But he insisted he had not fallen out with the band, saying they were the “hardest-working bunch of girls I’ve ever worked with”.

He said the disagreement with Little Mix’s management “wasn’t down to money”, adding: “Basically, they said we’d done a terrible job.

“I had agreed not to talk about this publicly because I thought it was a private matter.

“I said, ‘We can’t work with the management, it’s as simple as that’.”

Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne later said: “We were with Syco for seven years and had an incredible journey but it’s going to be nice to change it up and get a new view on us.

“A change and a fresh start is a good thing, we’re excited.

“I think it’s going to be good for us as well. I’m intrigued to see what people want to do for us.

“We definitely speak our mind now. If we don’t like it, we always say it.”
