There are already loads of different events in the diary for summer 2019 but there's another one to look forward to in the North East in the shape of Funtopia festival.
Taking place in Herrington Park during the school summer holidays on Sunday, August 18, the massive family event will unite a whole host of acts on one lineup for a day full of fun, live music and hopefully plenty of sunshine!
As well as the entertainment on stage there will be a craft market, giant funfair, food stalls and licensed bars. Dogs are welcome too and the best bit in terms of keeping it as a cheap day out, is the fact there will be free on site parking.
But back to the entertainment. The lineup for Funtopia includes highly rated Greatest Showman tribute A Million Dreams; Little Mix tribute Power and Melissa T as Dua Lipa.
Joining them on the bill are Lady Gaga tribute Rebecca Parry and a tribute to Ariana Grande tribute by Simply Ariana.
