Little Mix themed Afternoon Tea to be served at Newcastle hotel with mocktails named after the girls

Every time Little Mix arrive in Newcastle, they attract loads of interest and a city centre hotel is marking the occasion of their three consecutive nights at Utilta Arena in serious style.

On Thursday, Jade, Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne will kick off a trio of shows on Tyneside as they bring their LM5 tour to Newcastle, having taken it all over Europe since it began last month.

It's hard to believe it's been eight years since the girls first shot to fame on The X Factor, earning plenty of votes for their covers of E.T, Don't Let Go and of course Cannonball, which became their first number 1 after they won the ITV show.

Since then they've also reached the top spot with Wings, Black Magic and Shout Out To My Ex, all of which are sure to be on the Little Mix setlist for Newcastle, where they will be joined by their tour support acts.

If you're going to see the girls, you'll need to be aware of and you might also want to book up for The Royal Station's Little Mix themed Afternoon Tea, which will be served before the shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and features drinks named after the girls!

The menu is as follows:

Mocktails:

Jesy – Apple and pineapple in a raspberry gomme-rimmed glass topped with lemonade

Jade – Pineapple and coconut in a strawberry gomme-rimmed glass

Perrie – Fresh orange in a strawberry gomme rimmed-glass topped with lemonade and a dash of lime

Leigh-Anne – Pineapple and honey topped with cinnamon gomme and dressed with gold

Food:

Grated cheddar, sliced ham and tuna mayonnaise sandwiches

Fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam

Victoria sponge cake, chocolate éclair, raspberry & vanilla cake and chocolate strawberries

The Little Mix themed Afternoon Tea is available October 24, 25 and 26 from 12pm until 6pm in the Royal Station hotel’s Empire restaurant. It is priced at £10 per person and must be pre-booked. For more information and to book call  0191 232 0781 .
