Little Mercy, Merseyside's first Christmas Day baby

The first Christmas Day baby for Merseyside was announced as Mercy Ibeh, weighing in at 3.8kg.

She arrived at 1.32am at Whiston Hospital, making proud mum Mercy and dad Christian, from St Helens, very happy.

The family was looked after by midwife Libbi.
