'Little Lionel Messi' Arat Hosseini hoping to emulate heroes at Liverpool

A young Liverpool supporter has gone viral with his remarkable football exploits - including replicating Barcelona great Lionel Messi.

Six-year-old Arat Hosseini, who was born in northern Iran but now lives in Liverpool, has become an internet sensation due to a series of videos highlighting his incredible skills.

Arat's Instagram account has accrued an astonishing 2.7million followers, including boxer Anthony Joshua, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and Liverpool Champions League winner Luis Garcia.

Included among a raft of videos is one in which he completes more than 700 keepie-uppies.

In recent footage, Arat can be spotted regularly wearing Liverpool training gear as he parades his skills. He has previously been pictured at the club's Academy in Kirkby.

The youngster cites Messi and Juventus veteran Cristiano Ronaldo as his two heroes.

He has been spotted channeling his inner Messi in some footage, juggling with the ball before completing a spectacular overhead kick into a small goal placed on some chairs.

And in his latest video posted on Instagram stories, he has spent some time with the Premier League trophy

Arat Hosseini, future Liverpool hero? Remember the name.
