A little girl left an unexpected note on the front of a police van to thank them for working so hard.
Eva also included a small gift for the Lancashire Police officers who were shocked to find the message when they returned to their vehicle.
Posting the note and chocolate treats on Twitter , the officers said: "Yesterday a little note was left on some of our vehicles which has brightened up our day!
"If anyone knows Eva, if you can get in touch I’m sure we can arrange something in return!"
The officers shared a number of pictures to show just how touching the gesture from little Eva was.
The note, which was enclosed in an envelope with a Crunchie, Dairy Milk and Double Decker, said: "Dear Emergency Service Worker.
"You do an outstanding job and work extremely hard, mostly. Thank you.
"From Eva Davies, age 9.
"PS. Enjoy the sweets."
