Little family owned café that is one of Wirral's 'best kept secrets'

A family run café in Wirral's Port Sunlight Village has been dubbed one of the area's a "best kept secrets".

The Sun Lounge Café is part of the Port Sunlight Garden Centre and offers patrons a quiet retreat where all the food is cooked fresh to order.

On its Facebook page, the café is described as "a gem" and "one of the areas best kept secrets nestled in the conservation area of Port Sunlight Village".

It is owned by Andrew Wall, who opened the garden centre and café with the support of his children.

Open seven days a week, the café serves breakfast from 9am, Monday to Saturday and from 10am on Sundays with lunches also available each day from 11.45am.

The café has its own in house bakers who supply a selection of freshly made cakes and scones alongside gluten free sweet treats, too.

In a bid to suit all diets and lifestyle choices, the little café also offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options too.
