Little Britain will look a lot different when it returns to screens as many of the classic characters are being culled due to their controversial nature.
Matt Lucas, 46, and David Walliams, 48, are said to be in talks to revive their hit comedy sketch show for a brand new series.
However, some of the characters have not aged well since the show made it’s debut on BBC Three way back in 2003 and they now face being axed for the revival.
Among those facing the chop are ‘Fat Fighters’ weight loss coach Marjorie Dawes, racist Women’s Institute member Maggie Blackamoor, and Thai character Ting Tong – who was portray by Matt.

“We need to sit down and work out who we are bringing back and who we aren’t,” Matt said in an interview with The Sun amid rumours Netflix are set to offer him and David £3 million to create a new series of Little Britain.
“I think the reason the show was successful is because it reflected how we all were back when we made it, if we hadn’t have got that right it wouldn’t have been so popular,” Matt argued.
“I think to make it successful today you’d have to reflect how we all are now,” he added.

Little Britain was criticised when it originally aired - with complaints some characters were stereotyped and that minority groups were misrepresented in the show.
Matt confirmed Little Britain will return in some capacity while appearing on The One Show at the start of the month – revealing he and David are trying to decide the best approach to reviving the award winning series.
He said: "We message each other most days and send each other those silly memes everybody sends. We're getting on well and thinking what we can do with Little Britain.

"We don’t know what it will be. Could it be a podcast? A series on TV? A stage show? Also he’s very busy doing Britain's Got Talent and writing his books."
"I've got another job booked that you’ll know about Alex," added Matt, who was referring to their appearance on Bake Off.
He continued: "We’ve just got to find the time. We definitely will do. We just don't know how."
Meanwhile, the comedian has raised over £600K for the NHS by releasing a song called Thank You Baked Potato - which topped the download charts this week.
The 'Baked Potato Song' is a revised rendition of a tune he originally performed on Shooting Stars, and has gone down a storm with fans.
Matt debuted the new rendition of the song online last month while sat at his piano playing and singing his song that encourages people to wash their hands regularly and follow the rules of the imposed lockdown in the UK.
