Little boy, 8, sadly dies after being mauled to death by aggressive dogs in Tallaght, Dublin

A little 8-year-old boy has sadly died after being viciously mauled to death by a pack of aggressive dogs in west Dublin.

The defenceless child was attacked by Rottweilers at a house near Tallaght at around 4pm on Sunday.

He was taken to Tallaght hospital before being rushed to Children's Health Ireland in Crumlin where he sadly died on Monday morning.

Gardai said the dogs have been confiscated and an investigation is underway.
