A litter of six-week-old Border Collie puppies have been snatched from a woman in East Lothian.
The owner took to social media to make a public plea, in a post that has been shared over ten thousand times.
She warned people to be vigilant when purchasing a Border Collie, after having the pups stolen.

The owner took to social media to say: "Stolen Collie pups, we are absolutely gutted to say we have had our litter of collie pups stolen last night in East Lothian.
"They are six weeks old. If anyone saw anything locally or sees any pups advertised for sale please message me thanks."
The owner said that she was "distraught" when she discovered the puppies had been stolen.
A picture shared of the stolen animals appears to show five black and white puppies.
