Litigator Caroline Clark joins boutique firm Bellwether Green

Former Burness Paull and BTO lawyer Caroline Clark has joined the Litigation and Regulation team at Bellwether Green.

The experienced litigator will work as part of Fran Ennis’ team at the Glasgow firm.

Clark said: "I am thrilled to be joining Bellwether Green. This has been a very strategic career move for me. The boutique law firm business model, which harnesses senior lawyer expertise and provides exceptional service for clients at a competitive price point, has a firm place in the Scottish professional services market and I am keen to be involved in this sort of forward thinking firm.

"I am excited to bring my experience of working at other commercial law firms, as both a fee-earner and in a knowledge and development capacity, to such a progressive firm.

"In particular, I am looking forward to working with Frances Ennis, Head of Litigation and Regulation - we are very much on the same page in terms of our ambitions and vision for the team."

Ennis, who joined the firm in March, said Clark fitted in with Bellwether Green's role in the Commercial Law Network, a referral network for high street, niche and sole practitioners. The CLN allows its 50-plus member firms to refer matters requiring corporate or commercial law expertise on a non-compete basis.

Ennis said: “I am delighted to have Caroline joining us, which marks the latest growth in our Litigation and Regulation team. She has all the qualities we were looking for.

"She has a well-earned reputation as a formidable litigator, but beyond that, her most recent experience means she is perfectly placed to support the firms’ burgeoning CLN through expert training."

Head of corporate April Bingham, who is responsible for rolling out the CLN network, said “Caroline is such an asset to our business. Another established fee-earner for the team with the calibre of experience that our clients and network members can have confidence in.”
