Chelsea supporters are adamant their team should have been shown a first-half penalty in their crucial Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Just a few days after the heartbreaking FA Cup final defeat to the Foxes at Wembley Stadium, the Blues had the chance to get some sort of revenge at Stamford Bridge.
With a reduced capacity back inside Chelsea's home ground, there were clear signs of intensity in the opening stages of the match and the hosts were on top in west London.
Then, early in the first-half, Timo Werner jumped in front of Youri Tielemans inside the Leicester box, and it looked like the latter had kicked the former on his way past.
However, Mike Dean did not see it that way - with the referee awarding the Foxes a free-kick, deeming Werner to dive.
If there was a VAR check, there was not much of one, with play resuming relatively quickly after the incident - much to the annoyance of some Chelsea supporters on Twitter.
Werner's frustrating opening 45 minutes continued after the penalty appeal, with the Germany forward having two goals ruled out for different reasons.
His first was a fine finish in the bottom corner, but Werner was ruled offside and replays shown he was clearly in an illegal position.
Then Werner fumbled the ball into the back of the Foxes net from a corner, but after plenty of celebrations from the German, the VAR spotted a handball from the Chelsea striker as the ball went past Kasper Schmeichel.
The Blues need to win the match to have any chance of still finishing in the top four, with Liverpool in action tomorrow evening against Burnley.
