Listen to the powerful words of Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin

Ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night practice, head coach Mike Tomlin led his team to the middle of the field, players locked arm in arm and spoke some truly powerful words. Tomlin has always been known as a man who can command a room and on Friday night he commanded the attention of everyone listening.

Tomlin gave an emotional three-minute speech and then brought the entire team together for a moment of silence where all players and coaches took a knee. A prayer for a more perfect union and the betterment of our country.

The way Tomlin presented the Steelers point of view on this subject it was handled it perfectly. Please check out the video below and take what coach Cowher’s words to heart as an example of how a professional sports franchise should handle a situation like this.
