The Carolina Panthers’ defense is missing former middle linebacker Luke Kuechly. It doesn’t hurt to still have him in the building, though. After retiring in January, Kuechly became a pro scout for Carolina. As you might imagine, he’s proven to be an invaluable resource for some of the team’s young defenders.

Chinn won Defensive Rookie of the Month for October and is likely to be rookie of the week after scoring two touchdowns in a row against the Vikings. He may not win the award, but he’s absolutely deserving of being in the DROY conversation.
