Listen: Our interview with Lions CB Jerry Jacobs

On this week’s edition of the Detroit Lions Podcast, we got a special treat. Lions rookie cornerback Jerry Jacobs joined me and host Chris for a lengthy interview.

Jacobs went into detail about his path to joining the Lions, from a troubled young kid to JUCO and then the SEC. He talked about what it was like to get the call from GM Brad Holmes asking him to come to Detroit, his first impressions of being a Lion, his appreciation for head coach Dan Campbell’s football knowledge and enthusiasm, and much more.

We also discussed some interesting figures and stats that show Jared Goff in a better light than what many have perceived upon his arrival in Detroit. Don’t forget about the training camp party on July 31st, which will feature “voice of the Lions” Dan Miller.
