LISTEN: Anderson .Paak pays homage to LeBron James in new single

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers took another loss on the court last night, pushing them further into a spring without postseason basketball. But that doesn’t mean L.A. isn’t repping for LeBron James. In fact, one of the most influential artists in the city wrote a song named after LeBron.

Anderson .Paak released his new single on Friday, entitled ‘King James.’More than his basketball exploits though, Paak recognized LeBron James for giving back to his community to create opportunities for future generations.

“And we salute King James for using his chains/ To create some equal opportunities,”

This of course is in reference to the LeBron James Family Foundation, which opened the ‘I Promise’ school in Akron, Ohio last July.
